books & school ll 11:07 AM ll
Labels: blahs, school rantsBooks. I thought I could already cross out in my wishlist the "complete the Shopaholic Series" but I guess not.. It turns out that recently, Sophie Kinsella(she's the author) wrote another one for the series which is the Shopaholic and Baby. I was planning on buying it but the only copy the bookstore has is a hardbound edition (I don't know if it is available in paperback). I have bought paperback editions of the other books in the series and I don't want to ruin the set.Right now, buying books is giving me a problem. I usually store my books in my study table and now, it's full already. I don't know where to put the books I will buy in the near future. And yet, as you can see, I have added some more books in the wishlist. I guess I would just think of my problem when I get there hehe. ******* School. Recently, I have pre enlisted my subjects in school. This brought some realizations for me. Realization #1 It never crossed my mind that picking a block section with a schedule that would fine by me is hard. It turns out that a lot of factors should be considered like the location of the buildings, the subjects themselves and ,of course, the time itself. I guess too many choices is what makes it hard for me. Realization #2 I know some people who will also took Chem Eng in UPD. I thought I will have them as classmates but it turns outs that we chose different block sections. I realize I don't know anyone from my would-be block section. I'm just not sure how I would approach someone and who am I going to approach. You see, when I transfer to DLSL, I have 2 friends from grade school who also became my classmates in high school. So there's little pressure to find new friends right from the very start (of course it's a necessity to find new friends but.. you know what I mean). Realization #3 I will have to travel by jeep and tricycle. This idea kinda sink in just lately. I'm not used to travel around in public transportations (I can't even remember when was the last time I rode in a taxi, mrt, or lrt). Ever since my family moved to the compound, the company provided my transportation to school. But now, it will all be different especially since I have some classes that ends about 5:30 (which is quite late I think). I'm not sure if it is quite safe to travel at that time.. alone *some scary thoughts in my head* Realization #4 Scrabble can be a PE subject. I was shocked at this. I didn't know that Scrabble is like a sport or something. But it really is a pe subject. I just can't imagine having that kind of pe (you know, as in physical education) subject. I mean, what are you supposed to do in during pe? (no offense to those who took scrabble as their pe). Some of you maybe thinking that what I have chosen as pe is something kinda physical. But actually it's not hehe You see, we are required to take pe1&2. PE 1 is more on lectures, I think, and PE2 is your own choice of a sport or something. Among all pe2, I reaaly like to take up badminton but any block sections I pick have no slot for that. So I just took PE1 since I have time for it and sooner or later I will take it up in the future..

Last Saturday, I am officially not going to live in a dorm. We already found an apartment where I can live together with my aunt and ,maybe, some other students whom my aunt knows from UB. You see, the apartment has two floors and two bedrooms. My aunt and I can just occupy a bedroom and we can let other people to live with us and sleep at the other room. Actually, I didn't expect that I am going to live in an apartment like that but still, it is not a dorm. hehehe***Yesterday is CSI: Supreme Sunday. responsibilitiesI became sad when I read this. I guess there was no real CSI: team. I felt like a kid who just learned that Santa Claus does not exist at all. Even though I have not really considered being like the people from CSI:. But if I were to choose between being a detective or being a forensic scientist, I would choose the latter. It's because I like to be the one who uses those high-tech gadgets hehe.
