Good-bye high school! ll 2:18 PM ll

Mixed emotions filled me up yesterday when I attended our graduation rites. I just don't know if I'm happy or sad.

Elation:

Yahoo!!! I did it! I survived 4 years of high school.. I have passed 4 years of long tests, complicated projects, all-night worrying and lots of other hardships.. That's OVER!

I am going to college! OMG.. I can't believe it.. Just 5 more years to go hehe

Sorrow:

Whoever said the goodbyes are never easy, he's right. DLSL has been a home for me for four years. And now, I'm going to leave it. I will also be away from my classmates and friends. We all treated each other as a part of a one big happy family and now we're moving on. We all have chosen different paths and now we came to the forked part of the road. We will go on in our separate ways. I can't imagine that the faces I see everyday in school will be, in a way, gone. I got used to see these people and in June, I will be seeing unfamilliar faces-the faces of strangers.

"Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)"

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road

Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go

So make the best of this test, and don't ask why

It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right.

I hope you had the time of your life.

So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind

Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time

Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial

For what it's worth it was worth all the while

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right.

I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right.

I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right.

I hope you had the time of your life.

-Green Day-

I'll miss you guys!

Unfortunate Events ll 3:36 PM ll

Argh! Ever since Thursday, I've been trying to create a new post. Blogger were having problems and unfortunately, I'm one of those affected. In the past days, EVERY URL that has "post" in it would never upload at all! I would wait for the page to upload for 1-2 hours and it would never show up! I could just not believe my luck!

***

I finished the Series of Unfortunate Events! I remember it was August 2006 when I started collecting the 13 books. And now, I did it! I have it all from The Bad Beginning to The End.

Last Yuletide Season, my cousin asked me what gift I would like for Christmas. I said I wanted Book the Tenth of the Series. My father knew about this agreement. Since he was thinking of helping me in completing the Series, he bought Book the Eleventh until Book the Thirteenth. And when Christmas Eve came, my father gave me the books but my cousin changed her mind on what she wants to give me. So, what I have that time are books 1-9 and 11-13. And ever since, everytime we go to a bookstore, I will search for the Book 10. But, it will always turns out that they don't have a copy of that book! And when I went to Bay Mall last Thursday, there it was! And now I have it all! Yay!!

Last Sunday, I finished reading The End. Until now, I am quite speechless with the ending. I still don't know if I'm happy with the ending or not and if all the mysteries that formed in my head were solved or not. I think I'm just not satisfied with how it ended. (But still I finished them all! Yay!)

***
Last Sunday, a family in the compound have gone to Australia. This means another friend left the compound. Through the years that I have lived in the compound, I have seen people come and go. Friends either migrate to another country or live in Manila to study. The latter still ,of course, comes back in summer and in June, I will be one of them. But those who migrate comes back mostly after 2-4 years. We all know that one by one, our families will migrate to other countries as well and our time being one of the "Batang Tabangao" will be finished. I know each one of us willl be sad when that happens since most of us, like me, have spent their childhood days in the compound with one another.
But until that time comes, I'm just happy that I still live here and I'm still with my childhood friends.
Goodbye, Jovic!

the 3rd and last of the firsts ll 5:44 PM ll

500,000 light-years have passed since my father deprived me of my right to use the damn computer… Actually it’s just for the weekend since I have the computer all to myself during the daytime on weekdays and he and my sister has work/schoolwork to do. But still, this idea made my weekend boring to the Core. I mean I could only resort to the tv and my cell phone as my only sources of entertainment! And I have things to do with the computer! the result: a bored and cranky psyChe.

~The To Do List~

1. update mp3 files on mp4
2. transfer recorded music videos from mp4 to computer
3. check e-mail and friendster account
4. make the first post on blog

As you can see, I’m now on no. 4. People close to me will be shocked and surprised to know that I have a blog. I cannot even believe it myself. First of all, a blog is relatively like a diary and I have never had a diary before. I have really tried writing on a diary before but it only lasted for a week and *poof* the diary is out of my head and never to return again. I just don’t have enough patience (and the handwriting) to write (or in this case, type) down my thoughts and ideas. Second, a blog needed a design and I just don’t have any creative bone in my body. I could sometimes think of a nice design once in a while but I could not just transpire my idea into reality that well.

So how come I have one right now? Blame it (Sorry, I can’t think of any word which can be a nicer word than blame right now) on 2 people namely, jadenmd and deynti. I promised this two that if they will help me with my no. 2 reason, I will update my blog as frequently as possible or else they will kill me (just kidding! but really, I usually am the one who does the killing).

I know, you know, that I'm not telling the truth.
I know, you know, they just don't have any proof.
Embrace the deception- learn how to bend,
Your worst inhibition's gonna psych you out in the end.

It's the chorus of the theme song of a new show in the Crime and Suspense network named Psych. Among all the "crime investigation" tv series I've watched (And believe me that's a lot), this is one of the best. It's the only the crime show I know which is also a comedy at the same time. The lead character, Shawn Spencer, is a detective who lives on the fun and wacky side of life. I have always loved the mystery of solving crimes (that's why I am also hooked on the CSI: series) but this show have given crime solving a fun twist.

Credit: tvrage.com

Shawn Spencer pretends to be a psychic for the police department using his keen eye on minute details. His career as a police psychic begins when he gave the police a tip on an investigation and the police believe that this kind of information can only come from the inside. He ,then, becomes a suspect and to get himself out of trouble, he made them believe that he have known about this piece of information since he is a psychic. Unfortunately, he needs to keep on pretending since the chief police hired him as a "police psychic" and if he will be proven not a real psychic, he will go to jail. So now, he solves crime with his childhood friend, Gus.

Gus: You named your fake detective agency Psych? Why didn't you just call it 'hey we're fooling you and the police department; hope we don't make a mistake and somebody dies because of it.

Shawn: First of all, Gus, that name is entirely too long; it would never fit on the window. And secondly, the best way you convince people you're not lying to them is to tell them you are!

Trial by jadenmd ll 11:18 PM ll

Yipee! After 25,783,439 years of waiting, Shei is now a blogger like us: jadenmd and Deynti! Heehee.

WELCOME SHEI, the GEEK in the PINK!
(Sorry ah, I'm not fond of colors like Deynti is. ^_^)

Actually, I was just "instructed" to post here so as to make this look nice. In a good way ha! Hahaha. Tama nga naman. Tutal wala pa ang tunay may-ari ng blog na 'to dito, kami (the designers -- Wow, how fitting!) muna ang magpo-post dito. Binyagan!

I haven't done much to the creation of this blog, really, except for the image and the forth-coming music. But well, I guess it's better to have something rather than nothing.

Wow, lalim! Hahaha.

Geez, I've gotta stop doing this two-language switch-a-roo. I don't do this even to my own blog.

Well, anyways, if you want more insanity-driven posts and/or rants, just visit my own blog (which hopefully will have a new image soon as well):

*turning back time...through music*
(Clicky!)

Thanks a lot, Shei, for the temporary space! Love yah! ^_^

Yours truly,
jadenmd

(I don't do labels, but for our beloved Shei, I'll do it. Nakanaman. =D)

TRIAL BY DEYNTI ll 9:35 PM ll

Since la pa naman ang tunay na may-ari ng blog na to, ako muna ang magpopost para naman magkalaman ang blog niya... hehe...

Tomorrow pa siya makakabalik at well, ako muna ang magbibinyag!

First of all, i'll be endorsing my depressed blog.

--> CLICK HERE!

Now that it's fully endorsed, let me say my deepest hatred to blogger.

[Rant Starts.]

Hayz. Buhay nga naman. Daming napapahirap sa sarili e.

[Rant End.]

It's finished! I can't believe this. It really IS finished.

Message to our new blogger, Shei.
GREETINGS geek and WELCOME to BLOGOSPHERE!
Sincerely,
Deynti

This has been Deynti, one of the maker's of the layout. ^_^

The faint scent of tears
On my rain soaked cheeks
The warm look on the face
Of travelers

The music from our childhood
Faintly echoes in the background
The memories
I hopelessly try to remember
Wander aimlessly

But with these tiny wings,
launched by my dreams
Over distant oceans and skies
We'll soar together
To a place
where memories never fade

You light up the way for me
In the darkness of night
Oh, that warm look
On your face
I miss you so much
